We've received notices of both car break-ins and thefts in our community & in nearby communities. These have happened both during the DAY as well as as in the evening hours. Please be aware of the following:
- Always keep car doors locked, regardless of the time of day, and be sure your car trunk is closed.
- Do NOT leave valuables in your car, e.g. guns, laptops, electronics, cash, etc. whether they are visible or not!
- Keep your home’s exterior well lit.
- Townhome owners have both front porch and “dusk to dawn” security lights. Leaving the security lights turned on at all times will result in lights automatically coming on at dusk and turning off at dawn. Note: if your dusk to dawn bulbs need to be replaced or they are not working properly, please contact our property manager.
- Make sure your doors (front/back/garage) as well as patio/deck fences are closed and locked. Even if just out walking your dog, keep in mind that it only takes a minute for someone to pop into your home/garage/patio/deck and grab items.
- Do not leave anything on your front porch, patio, or yard that you are not willing to have stolen.
- If you are the victim of a car/home/garage break-in/theft, please file a police report even if nothing or little of value was taken. This allows the MNPD to have a more accurate picture of activity in our neighborhood and may assist in their prosecution of criminals when they are arrested.
- Coverage for car damage/theft is provided on auto policies. However, items stolen from your car are typically covered on your homeowner/condo policy (Contents Coverage). Even if the value of what was stolen meets your property policy deductible, the impact to your insurance premium may not make filing a claim worthwhile. While we hope you are never put in the position to have to file a claim, it’s important to discuss all potential aspects with your agent before doing so.
- Do not hesitate to report suspicious activity by calling 911. If it is not an emergency, the non-emergency line is 615.862.8600.

Please note: due to the transition, assessments billed and paid for January 2025 will have late fees waived. Payment coupons with instructions on how to pay arrived via mail to all homeowners from Sentry as of end of January. If you have not received your coupons by mail, please contact [email protected]. Monthly maintenance fees are paid by each homeowner and are collected by the Community Management Company. The current monthly fees are as follows: Single Family Homes: $89 Townhomes: $325 Maintenance fees are due and payable on the first (1st) of each month. A late fee (currently $20.00) will be assessed for payments received after the fifteenth (15th) of each month. Please contact the community manager for information on automatic payment plans or with any questions. |
Single family homes have curbside service and townhomes have back door service. Homeowners are responsible for providing their own trash containers. All trash must be in plastic bags (13 gallon size or larger) and properly tied/bound.
*Pick-up is on Tuesdays and Fridays. To ensure pick up, please be sure your trash is out no later than 5:00 a.m. on the day of pick up. *NEW* Starting March 1, 2025: Pick-up is changing to Mondays & Thursdays! Our trash collection service also provides recycling pickup of the following items as long as they are bagged separately from non-recyclable trash, as well as each other in clear recycling bags available from retailers such as home improvement stores, e.g. Lowes or Home Depot or on-line from Amazon:
Cardboard will also be collected for recycling, but must be broken down completely or it will not be collected. It does not need to be bagged and should be placed on top of/next to your trash container. If you have large or atypical trash items, please contact Green Max Waste Solutions to coordinate a time and price to haul away. Note: Yard / landscaping waste & electronic waste (computers, microwaves, vacuum cleaners, etc.) requires disposal at a Davidson County Convenience Center or special collection & is not part of routine collection. Please contact Green Max Waste Solutions for additional haul away pricing. |
